Between Hessisch Oldendorf and Bad Münder lies the Süntel with its beech forests. One destination is the Hohenstein, a rock face about 50 metres high in a nature reserve. Bad Münder is also home to Süntel beeches, a rare beech variety with strangely twisted crowns and low-hanging branches.
From Bad Münder, hiking trails lead up the Deister, mostly through beech forest. Good for a date where you'd rather walk than sit.

How much does it cost?
Applying and verification are free. You only pay when you accept a suggestion: €15.00 for the blind date, €12.00 for the group dinner. That covers selection, booking and organisation. Everyone orders and pays for their own food and drinks at the restaurant. There is no subscription.
What does my date see about me?
Your first name, age and your three sentences. No surname, no town, no photo and no contact details. Your date only gets your mobile number if you both say yes after meeting.
How will we recognise each other?
The table is booked for you. The name it's under is in your email. Just ask at the restaurant and they'll take you to it.
Can I cancel?
Yes. As long as the date isn't fixed yet, cancelling costs nothing. If it's already fixed and you cancel up to 48 hours beforehand, you get the amount as credit for next time. We'll pay it out on request. If you cancel later or simply don't show up, the amount is forfeited. If the other person cancels or we move the date, you get everything back.
Am I too old for this?
No. Weserfunke is for singles aged 18 and up, with no upper limit. You tell us how old your date should be, and we stick to it. At a group dinner, only people of a similar age share the table. If you don't like dating apps, you're in the right place. More for singles over 50
How quickly will I hear back?
We usually reply to your application by email within a few hours. The first blind date suggestion can then take a few weeks, depending on who from your area and your age group has signed up.
